Homeopathy uses remedies prepared from natural substances found in the plant, animal, and mineral worlds. In preparing a homeopathic remedy, a substance is put through a series of careful dilutions and mechanical agitations. This process captures the energetic signature of each specific substance. These remedies, when properly used, can increase health by stimulating your bodies own natural vitality.
Information about homeopathic remedies has been carefully collected through the years. The characteristics of each remedy are determined by trained, healthy volunteers that take a specific remedy and recorded the effects it produces. This is called a proving. I will use information collected about the remedies, along with information provided by you, to select the best remedy that will produce the optimum healing response.
Most homeopathic remedies are available from your local health food store or natural pharmacy. Homeopathic remedies sold in the U.S. are prepared under strict governmental guidelines. I will recommend a reliable source for you to purchase the recommended remedy.
During a consultation you will be asked a lot of questions. The homeopathic approach treats people, not specific conditions. I will want to know as much as possible about your life and why you are seeking treatment. Remember, the goal of homeopathy is to increase your quality of life by stimulating your bodies own natural healing power!

About Tom...
My name is Tom Kircher and I have been a student of homeopathy since 2004. I began studying homeopathy after experiencing its benefits and became convinced that it offers a safe, gentle way to promote health. I have certificates of completion from Hahnemann Online Education, a two-year web-based curriculum, and from Baylight School of Homeopathy, a four-year course of study located in South Portland.
My wife Jane and I live in Biddeford with our cat Choco and our dog Brutus. Our three children occasionally stop by to catch up on sleep, meals, and laundry.
